The Kreen

The Kreen are a Race shrouded in mystery, they hail from the southern regions of Barsaive and Vivane into Creana. They appear as large, humanoid mantes with four arms and an tough exoskeleton. Having four arms definitely gives the Kreen several combat advantages, but also gives them a lack of physical toughness.
Religion and Believes
The Kreen seem to have no Passions as we know them, instead they worship the forces of nature, since these -as they conclude- are more powerful than anything they know of. The Kreen do not know society on their own, they are usually found in nomadic tribes, they live of the things nature gives them and are good at it too. Many people, upon seeing the Kreen, think them as malevolent Horror-Constructs, luckily this is not true. Even though their religious believes and way of live may seem primitive to us, they can show us secrets of nature that we've never seen before. Mostly the Kreen are peaceful people, they kill animals only when necessary and try to avoid fights and conflicts as much as possible, but an enraged Kreen is bound to give even a more experienced fighter a hard time. The only war the Kreen ever fought was long before the Scourge, when they were still traveling from their old homes to find a better place to live; they were traveling past the south-side of Death's Sea, when they encountered a strange lizard-like people, who were thinking the Kreen meant them harm. The lizard people, whom we now know as Chom'Lae , fought the Kreen in one fierce battle where both lost many a man, the battle continued for over 3 weeks until both sides realized the purposelessness of the battle and made peace so the Kreen could continue their journey.
On Appearance
The most special feature of the Kreen is, of course, their four arms, then, coming in second, is their insect-like appearance. Many Scholars think they might be relatives of the wide-spread Scorponoks and might have evolved under high levels of magic. Even though one might think that Kreen are quite in advantage with four hands, they do not. Their hands are smaller than the normal human's which causes him to wield a heavy pole-axe, for example, with all four hands. The Kreen's multi-facetted eyes give them an advantage, they have a vision that allows them to observe all that is around them, with all the consequences tied to that.
On Behavior
The Kreen are not blessed with longevity, they physically mature at the age of 15 and live about 60 years. This causes them to live life a bit like the Orks and Windlings, they make the best out of things and tend to be optimistic at all times. They only thing that might be strange in our eyes is the Rituals they enact, most of them include sacrifice of animals. These Rituals include Coming of Age and Marriage Rituals, but these are held in secluded areas and are on invitation only.

Racial Abilities:
360o Vision
- This ability allows a Kreen to see everything around him and makes him immune to most surprises, a Kreen may surprise a surpriser who's trying to backstab him. the downside is that they are easily distracted and that any visual attacks (blinding and such) affect a Kreen from almost everywhere and have +3 steps to their effect (be it damage, etc.)
Exoskeleton
- Even though the lack toughness of body their Exoskeleton gives the Kreen a +2 Normal Armor Bonus.
"Quadralimbed"
- The Kreen have four arms and hands, this gives them the ability to hold multiple weapons or shields. Each hand has a may hold a Size 3 weapon, but they can only wield Size 5 and 6 weapons with four hands. Also each arms has a lowered Wound Threshold equal to the Kreen's Toughness Step. The Kreen is entitled to 2 attacks when wielding 2 different Melee Weapons of different Sizes, a bow must be used with all hands and throwing weapons receive a -1 Attack Step penalty. Furthermore when fighting unarmed without the use of any weapon whatsoever, the Kreen may attack 4 times in one round (Attack: Dex, Damage: Str-1). If the Kreen suffers a Wound to one arm, he cannot use that arm for combat anymore, Wounds specifically caused on arms to not count as to the number of Wounds used for Step reduction, etc.
